​The Better Future Foundation Amodu supports talented children from Amodu, Enugu, Nigeria with scholarships for secondary education.

​What does BFFA do?

​The Better Future Foundation Amodu (BFFA) has been a non-profit organisation since 2002. It enables talented but financially disadvantaged children from the village of Amodu in Nigeria to gain access to secondary education.

​At the heart of its work is supporting pupils after they complete primary school, so they can attend secondary school and successfully finish their education. Education is understood as a key foundation for an independent and self-determined future.

​The Better Future Foundation Amodu (BFFA) has been a non-profit organisation since 2002. It enables talented but financially disadvantaged children from the village of Amodu in Nigeria to gain access to secondary education.

​At the heart of its work is supporting pupils after they complete primary school, so they can attend secondary school and successfully finish their education. Education is understood as a key foundation for an independent and self-determined future.

​Since 2002, BFFA has supported a total of 132 children and young people from Amodu. Of these, 35 scholarship recipients are currently in education, while 97 graduates have successfully completed their school or university education.

​Current Scholarship Recipients

​BFFA currently supports several groups of scholarship recipients from Amodu. ​Currently, all scholarship recipients attend the only secondary school in Amodu, namely Community Secondary School Amodu.
​The support provided includes not only financial assistance, but also guidance throughout their time at school.
